If truth be told, I am writing this blog just so I can cover candy buffets. I am a girl who enjoys her candy. As a matter of fact, the other day, my boyfriend walked it the room and said “49 years old and eating Lik-M-Aid, what’s wrong with this picture”. A candy buffet is usually put out after dinner service is completed and guests are encouraged to indulge and help themselves. Coming from a foodie, some of the most ultimate fun comes in the exploring, selecting and bagging up of the candy.

It may be hard to believe, but I have heard that candy buffets are becoming as trendy as wedding favors and wedding cake. Some brides have opted to totally forget about the wedding favors and go the route of a candy buffet instead. If you are a “do-it-yourselfer”, you can research, purchase and set it up on your own or there are several free web sites that will walk you through the experience.
