Event Planning Training-the Fawlty Towers Edition

Event planning training is crucial for those that want to become more experienced in their field. Training provides us with the expertise that we need to do our jobs properly. Most of us have had training of some type, whether it be post secondary education or a certification courses offered within our industry. If you’re a member of any meetings and events associations then you’re familiar with the training that’s often offered throughout the year.

For any fans of the Fawlty Towers series, you’ll remember the many chuckles that we got when watching Basil trying to interact with his hotel guests.

I’ve talked to many teachers that have played episodes of Fawlty Towers as part of their training. The video below is a compilation of various clips from the famous Fawlty Towers series.

Can you just imagine interacting with your customers in the manner in which Basil and his cohorts did. I have to confess there has been times that I have felt like replying with some of the lines that I’ve seen in this video.
